With Tyler Seguin, Jason Spezza and the have one of the best trios of centers in the NHL, and now they are all signed for at least Yu Chang Jersey the next four years.That's after the Stars announced on Friday that Eakin signed a four-year contract extension with the team. In his three years with the Stars Eakin has scored 42 goals to go with 57 a sists in 207 games, including a career-high 19 goals and 21 a sists this past season.With Eakin now signed for four additional years beyond this season (he is entering the final year of his current deal that will pay him $2.3 million). That means the Stars now have Seguin, Spezza and Eakin all signed through the end of the 2018-19 season at a total salary cap hit of just $17.35 million. Given the production those three can give the Stars (they combined for 71 goals this past season) that is a pretty great investment.Dallas fell short of the playoffs in 2014-15 but is not only returning the best offensive team in the league from a season ago, but also added it to this offseason Patrick Sharp from the Chicago Blackhawks.
