Attack Patterns to Watch For:

Lunge and Bite Attacks:

Gladius has quick, multi-bite lunges and Elden Ring Items slower, more devastating bites using all three heads.

Signs: You can usually differentiate the slower, heavier attacks by watching for Gladius to rear up on his hind legs before launching the bite. These slower attacks are blockable if you have a shield, but they may still break your stance.

Dodge Strategy: If you don't have a shield, dodge directly into the attack to land a few quick strikes.

Sword Whip Attacks:

Vertical Slam: Gladius raises his sword high before slamming it down on a straight line toward his target. Strafe left or right to avoid it. If you're close enough, you can hit him in his side or back.

Circular Spin: Gladius will raise the sword above his head and perform a spinning attack. This attack swings twice, and you can dodge by rolling towards him twice just before it reaches you.

Tip: If Gladius is on higher ground than you, there's a chance the sword may pass over your head.

Fire-breath Attack:

Gladius will breathe fire in front of him in a wide cone, spewing lava from his mouth. It's easy to dodge by strafing left or right.

When split into three, the fire breath is smaller, but cheap Elden Ring Items still dangerous, so be cautious.
